Blair spotted Natasha playing piano at Groucho’s club in Soho and invited her to come into the studio for a tryout. I recorded Natasha playing Wurlitzer piano and singing. Blair overdubbed drums while Natasha was in the studio and I overdubbed bass later. The simple, but effective, arrangement came together blindingly fast once Natasha had laid down her keyboard part and vocals. Natasha left the studio in a hurry after the session, explaining that she had to go to work at the club that evening - and we have never heard from her since. Go figure!
