Working in the studio
The Ludwig drumkit, Fender and Ampeg bass amplification, Fender guitar amps, Steinway piano, Hammond organ, Fender Rhodes and Wurlitzer electric pianos, Hohner Clavinet, MiniMoog and Odyssey synthesizers are always set up and ready to record straight to Pro Tools.
All the studio musicians are experts at playing to click tracks and overdubbing to existing recordings, so all you need to do is to send your project along as .wav files, or as a Pro Tools Session (or as a Logic, Cubase, Nuendo or Digital Performer project) - ideally with a click and a set of markers for each section of your song or composition - and we will record ‘live’ instrument parts for you. If you have any guide parts or vocals already recorded, this is even better. And a chord chart or even written out parts for each musician always helps.
You can send these on CD-ROM or DVD-ROM or via the Internet. The studio has a broadband ADSL connection and can accept file transfers via email via FTP or via DigiDelivery.
You are welcome to come to the studio in person to oversee your recordings, or you can keep in contact by phone, by email, or using iChat on the Mac or using AOL Instant Messenger. Video conferencing is also available if you have a Mac equipped with an iSight camera/microphone and a .Mac or AOL Instant Messenger account.
Bass, drums, hand percussion (tambourines, maracas, shakers and so forth), piano, guitars, electric keyboards and synthesizers are always available. Vocalists and other instrumentalists (playing sax, flute, trumpet, congas, cello or whatever) can be booked as needed. And if synthesized sounds will suffice, the 'cream of the crop' of the latest virtual instruments and sample libraries is always available.
