9th February, 23rd February and 2nd of March, 2006, repeated on 30th November, 7th and 14th December, 2006:
"Rude Movements" - For this seminar I talked about my career in the music industry, illustrating this by discussing the Top 40 hit which I produced for EMI records and analysing the multitrack recording of my 'cult' single, "Rude Movements" by SunPalace, which has been endorsed as one of the most influential jazz/funk singles of the early 1980's by remix team 'Masters at Work' among others.
"What's Going On" - For the second seminar, I discussed and deconstructed various classic Marvin Gaye, Detroit Emeralds and Michael Jackson recordings while playing back the multitracks, which I have transferred to Pro Tools.
"Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" - The third seminar featured my work as a MIDI programmer and session musician on hit records such as The Chimes "Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For", Dave Angel/Eurythmics "Sweet Dreams are Made of This" and Bjork/David Arnold's 'Play Dead'.
